TSC August 2023 Permanent Replacement Posts Per School. The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) intends to recruit new teachers to replace those who left the service this year due to attrition. These educators are scattered all over the country.
The commission plans to find replacements for the instructors who left their jobs in July and August.
The Commission will publish a list of vacancies together with information about the schools where they are located and the subject combinations required at those schools
The Commission will also publish the subject combinations that these institutions must provide.
“Successful candidates will be deployed to serve in any part of the country, not necessarily the county where they were recruited,” Macharia added. “That doesn’t necessarily mean they will serve in the county they were recruited from.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has launched a major effort to increase the number of teaching posts available.
Newly hired teachers will be offered long-term employment contracts with pension security.
The TSC invited applicants who were qualified for the position to submit their applications online at Teachersonline.tsc.go.ke or www.tsc.go.ke under the “Careers” section of the Commission’s website.
TSC Replacement Application
To apply for a job in Kenya, you must have a TSC number and be a Kenyan citizen.
Candidates interested in the position should register for it on the TSC Online website which can be found at Teachersonline.tsc.go.ke.
Teachers are required to maintain current academic qualifications which must include the following:
~Certificates for primary and secondary education
~Certificate of completion of higher levels in order to register an account.
Applicants seeking employment in primary schools must have the following qualifications:
Primary Teacher Education (PTE) Certificate (P1 Certificate) from KNEC or Bachelor of Education (Primary Education) from a Kenyan government recognized university offering two teaching specializations
Secondary school teachers must have a degree in education from a program recognized for its ability to develop educators.
In addition to having a minimum grade average of C+ in KCSE or its equivalent (one major subject and two minor subjects at A level), they must also have at least two credit passes in the subject of study.
The group is set to come up with a solution to the alarming shortage of instructors in Junior Secondary Schools (JSS).
