TSC; Apology and pledge to pay SBTSS English teacher trainees

Teachers Service Commission (TSC) on their facebook pages, have pledged to pay the teachers who attended the School Based Teacher Support System (SBTSS) program last term. Through the TSC head of communication Beatrice Wababu, TSC  are sorry for not have managed to pay the trainees in time.

Hence TSC  said it will pay the English teacher trainees after working out some technical issues.

“The commission is aware of the delayed payment of SBTSS English trainees. We are sorting out a few issues in relation to this payment and we will soon communicate to you. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused” said TSC head of corporate affairs, Beatrice Wababu.

The Teacher Service Commission (TSC) is implementing part of the component one of the Secondary Education Quality Improvement Project (SEQIP) on ‘improving the quality of teaching in targeted areas”.

The project development objective (PDO) is to improve student learning in primary and secondary education and transition from primary to secondary in targeted areas. The PDO will be measured through average test scores in Science and Mathematics subjects performance indicators both in aggregate and separately for both boys and girls in public schools in targeted sub.
