Magoha announced that all applicants would know their placements by the end of July 2021.
“I am pleased to note that KUCCPS is ready to proceed with university and college placement for the 2020 KCSE candidates. Accordingly, I wish to announce that the Revision of Choices for Placement to Degree, Diploma, Artisan and Craft Courses will commence today,” he stated.
How to review:
1. Log in to the KUCCPS student portal through the registered credentials i.e username and password.
2. Click on the Applications tab on the upper left-hand corner to check the requirements.
Alternatively, search for courses by their institutions by clicking on the institution tab.
How to select courses:
1.Scroll through the programs and either add or revise the ones selected in the course bracket.
2. To enter your preferred courses, click on the application/revision tab on the site and enter the programme codes.
3. The candidate can pull the program codes from the selection in the course bracket.
4. Once you are done, submit the courses selected.

First Time Applicants:
Access the Student portal via students.kuccps.net
Fill in details such as KCSE index number, KCSE year and password
KUCCPS advises candidates to enter either birth certificate number or KCPE index (as used in the KCSE exam registration) as their initial password.
Head to the Applications tab on the upper left-hand corner and scroll the programs to select the courses.
Payment:
First-time applicants will be required to pay Ksh1,500 while those revising will part with Ksh1,000.
The amount can be paid through Mpesa: pay bill number 820201, account number: enter your KCSE year and index number, enter the amount, pin, and send. Upon payment, you will receive a notification acknowledging payment details.
This comes as Magoha had affirmed that all KCSE candidates would join universities and TVET institutions in order to fulfill the 100 percent transition promise made by the government.
“The government is committed to providing an opportunity for every child to pursue a career of their choice. Our Technical and TVET institutions have vacancies for 331,045 new students, while our public and private universities have 160,160 spaces for government-sponsored students,” Magoha stated.
