TSC Internship Teachers Recruitment, Official Roadmap and Score sheet details

The Teacher Internship Programme is a one (1) year programme meant to equip and sustain competencies of persons entering teaching service.

The programme targets unemployed registered teachers to be assigned to learning institutions where their teaching experience will be enhanced through mentorship coaching and exposure to practical teaching experience.

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, has released the road-map for the recruitment of teacher interns in 2020. The released schedule shows the interview dates for applicants who will be shortlisted to fill the 1,998 posts for primary schools and 4,876 for secondary schools.

The Commission is set to extend the internship period for interns recruited in 2019. The interns will report to schools on Monday January 4, 2021 (Continuing interns) as newly recruited interns report on Monday January 11, 2021 (New Interns).

6 Signing of internship agreement and issuance of offer of internship letters by County Directors. Tuesday January 5, 2021 to Friday January 8, 2021. 4 days
7 Reporting of Teacher Interns to schools. Monday January 4, 2021 (Continuing interns)Monday January 11, 2021 (New Interns) .
8 Receipt of documents at the TSC Headquarters. Monday January 11, 2021 to Friday January 15, 2021. 5 days.
9 Verification of results at the TSC Headquarters. Monday January 18, 2021 to Friday February 5, 2021. 15 days

One who has a co-curricular certificate of participation will also stand higher chances of scoring more marks. This part is very crucial when it comes to breaking of ties.
