TSC Gives These Lucrative Offers On Salary Increment To Teachers Union’s On The 2021-2025 CBA.
The Teachers Service Commission and the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), KUPPET and KUSSNET held a meeting to deliberate on the 2021-2025 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
The agreement that could be signed today will be in place for 4 years as from 1st July 2021.
Some of the clauses of the CBA offer from TSC read as follows
Married couples to be transferred to same areas but some considerations will be made like availability of vacancies etc.
Maternity leave will be 120 day’s for all ladies with full pay.
Adopting leave of 45 Calender day’s will be awarded to all men and paternity leave will also be given once per year.
Teachers will be promoted continuously and they will be allowed to further their education and awarded teaching certificate’s.
Discipline will be conducted in accordance with the code of conducts.
There will be compensation if any teacher gets injured during the course of their work.
Hardship Allowances will be awarded according to job group and it will be added across all job groups.
ASAL Allowances will also be provided accordingly and will end increased in all job groups.
Disability guide allowance will also be given out at an increased rate.
House allowances will also be increased according to regions.
