TSC Advertises 15,226 Promotion Vacancies for Teachers; Application Link, Procedure and Requirements

The Teachers Service Commission, TSC, is advertising 15,226 promotions vacancies for teachers.

These  vacancies include:

  • Deputy Principal 1
  • Deputy Principal ll
  • Senior Lecturer
  • Deputy Principal ll
  • Curriculum Support Officers
  • Head Teacher
  • Senior Master IV
  • Deputy Head Teacher l
  • Senior Lecturer IV
  • Senior Master IV

Those who qualify are expected to make their applications by 13th January, 2021.

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE ADVERTISED TSC PROMOTION POSTS ONLINE

  1. Visit the link https://tsconline.tsc.go.ke/adverts
  2. Enter your Surname, Id No/Passport No and TSC Number
  3. Tick yes for the question ‘are you serving under Career Progression Guidelines?’
  4. Now select ‘continue’
  5. For Basic Details enter your phone number and select home county.
  6. Declare your Performance Appraisal Ratings for 2017 to 2019.
  7. Fill in all the parts correctly and click on ‘Save’. In the next window, complete your application by uploading all the required documents.

 

The Teachers Service Commission is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 237 of the Constitution.

Pursuant to its mandate, the Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the posts shown below in line with the CAREER PROGRESSION GUIDELINES FOR TEACHERS

HOW TO APPLY

Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should make their applications online through the TSC website- www.teachersonline.go.ke so as to be received on or before 13th January, 2021.

Required Documents

Shortlisted Candidates shall be required to present the following VALID statutory documents during interviews:

a. Letter of appointment to the current grade

b. Letter of appointment/deployment to the current responsibility

c. Certificate of Good Conduct from Director of Criminal Investigations

d. Clearance Certificate by Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

e. Clearance Application from Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)

f. Clearance Certificate from a Credit Reference Bureau

g.Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)

h. Highest academic Certificate.

 

NOTE:

  1. The advertised post above by the teachers service commission is different from what I read and heard from the news yesterday i.e the post for the senior teachers in the category of primary schools, is it among the vacancies advertised or not…?
