It is just a few days after the KCPE results examinations were finished but the Father of education in Kenya has already given the expected dates to receive the results.
Just like the previous year, the results are going to be out before the end of November.
The marking exercise of this year’s KCPE examinations has already started across eleven marking centres in Kenya.According to Knec, seven thousand examiners have been contracted to mark this year’s KCPE Insha and Composition papers. The other papers will be marked by the new optical mark recognition machine. The machines accelerate marking hence quick results. The Knec chief officer Mercy Karogo said the coordination and processing of KCPE Insha and Composition will be between November first and November twentieth.
“These particular results will be released before Christmas .Why do we have to keep them when they are ready? We prepare that before they go for Christmas, the children will know the schools they will be going to so that parents can start preparing early.” Said the Professor at the last day of this years KCPE examinations. Thus the results are prone to be available before 25th November.
