Moi University Main campus in Kenya is located in Rift Valley part of Kenya. Moi University Main Campus is located 35 km South East of Eldoret town in Kenya. Eldoret town is six hours drive away from the capital city of Kenya, Nairobi on Nairobi – Eldoret Highway. Main Campus of Moi University is located in Kesses area in Eldoret, off the Eldoret-Nakuru Highway. To get to Moi University main campus in Kenya, you divert from the Eldoret- Nakuru Highway in Cheptiret and drive 14 Km to Kesses centre. From Kesses Centre in Eldoret, Moi University is located 5km on Kesse Moi University Road.
To pick a matatu from Eldoret town to Moi University Main Campus in Kenya, you can choose to use `The Shuttle` which is a bus that charges fare of Ksh 70 from Eldoret town to the Main Campus of Moi University or you can take a Nissan matatu which charge Ksh 100 to main campus. Matatus to Moi University main campus from this Main Stage in Eldoret, which is located on Uganda Road, are picked directly behind Turskys Supermarket in Eldoret. Moi University Hostel Booking is only available to Continuing Students. 1st-year students should wait till 10th August 2019.

Ensure to complete your Registration at the students portal. Also, ensure that you follow the due process of either booking or filling a nonresident form. This will enable you to be included in the nominal roll and be allowed to sit for your Exams.

- Visit the students portal and log into your student account.
- Click on the Retain/Book a room Tab.
- Enter your details in the subsequent fields following the system prompts commands.
- Submit your application and wait for approval by relevant authorities.
- Keep on checking back on the system for guidelines of getting your booking form from the admin.

Payments are to be made to the official Accommodation Deposit Account for the University at National Bank A\C No. 01021027999600. Ensure that you have included your name and registration number in your receipt when making a cash deposit.

Also, be sure to verify that the payment corresponds to the rates of your desired Hostel. Students are supposed to scan and upload payment receipt as proof of payment. Provision of false information will lead to disciplinary action, as stated in the Terms and Condition.

Application & Registration Guidelines for Moi university:
a) Self Sponsored Students (SSP)
To join the university as a self sponsored student, follow the steps below:
- Decide the programme that you want to undertake and ensure you meet the programme qualifications stated in “Our Programmes” section.
- click on “Apply” at the top of this web page or at the bottom of this section”
- Fill in the required information in each step of the application
- Finish the application process and submit your application.
- Once your application is submitted successfully, you will receive an email from us indicating your application ID.
- Pay the indicated application fee depending on your programme level
- Diploma / Certificate – Ksh 500
- Undergraduate – Ksh 1000
- Masters / PHD – Ksh 2000
- Use the application ID sent to your email, to keep track of your application status.
b) Government (KUCCPS) Sponsored Students (GSP)
To join the university as a Government (KUCCPS) sponsored student, follow the steps below:
- Under “Login” section at the top of the page, click on “Government sponsored” or click on “Log in” button at the bottom of this section.
- Enter the required login details
- The first time you login, you are required to accept or reject the programme you have been offered. Accepting the offer gives you the access to other services while rejecting denies you access to any other services.
