Applicants receive the notice through the main newspapers and Media from Kenya Universities and Colleges Placement Service (KUCCPS).
Upon receipt of the shortlisted candidates from KUCCPS, the college invites the candidates to collect their admission letters and the joining instructions.
Application for Diploma in Teacher Education training under School Based Programme
The College puts up a notice on the available training opportunities through local dailies and media.
The candidates then place requests either through physical dispatching of KCSE certificates or by sending their testimonials through our Online application form
On processing of the candidate’s requests and subsequent admission letters, they are invited to collect their admission letters and the joining instructions.
Kagumo TTC Accommodation
Kagumo TTC have quality accommodation facilities (Women and Men hostels) to accommodate all students and catering services. The college has a capacity to accommodate about 900 students. The hostels are partitioned into cubicles for the privacy of the users, have hot water for bathing and ablution facilities.
Kitchen and Dining Hall The kitchen and dining hall caters to the needs of the college student population, as well as the staff tea and other requisitions on a daily basis. It also caters to visitors whenever such situations arise.

Minimum Requirements for Diploma in Teacher Education
i) Mean Grade C+ (Plus) at KCSE
ii) Grade C (plain) in English
iii) Grade D+ (plus) in Mathematics for Art based Courses only.
iv) Grade C (plain) in Mathematics for Science based courses only.
v) Grade C+ (plus) in the two teaching subjects.
NB: For applicants with special needs (visual and hearing impairment)
i) Mean Grade C ( plain) at KCSE
ii) Grade C- (minus) in English
iii) Grade D (plain) in Mathematics for Art based courses only.
iv) Grade C- (minus) in Mathematics for Science based courses only.
