Teachers Service Commission (TSC) is the only commission in Kenya that is mandated to recruit, promote and transfer teachers from one working station to another.

The commission which is currently under the leadership of Dr Nancy Macharia has been working round-the-clock to ensure that teachers are working in a conducive and welcoming environment.

Even as civil servants continue resigning from there specific offices, Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has directed that all teachers who are interested in political seats should resign and exit the service on or before 8th of February 2022.

According to the circular released to the public whose recipients is all teachers and secretariat of staff search teachers are expected to exit the service and clear with their respective institutions under the guidance of their supervisors or are their head of institutions.
