The teachers employer TSC has announced that they will promote more than 45,000 teachers from primary to secondary schools
According to TSC the Competency based curriculum CBC will shift a lot of education work to secondary schools thus leaving primary schools with less work with many teachers
The teachers to be promoted will be deployed to work in the newly introduced junior secondary schools which will be grades 7,8 and 9.
According to Teachers Service commission TSC the promotion will be based on the Teachers holding a bachelor’s degree and a mean grade of C+ and above.
