This is how I was promoted to the position of a sales manager at work.
Hi, am Henry Muiruri, the sales manager of Dishon auto spares and hardware. Ima married to my lovely wife Maggy and I have one daughter, Alicia. We live in Nairobi as it is my place of work too.
My life is now stable and cool as I am able to sustain my family. However, there was a time I was just but a casual worker in the company. I was promoted just recently. That time I labored hard just to afford to place a meal on the table for my family.
I applied several times for at least an increase in salary but the sales manager who was there by then could not let it reach the managing director as he feared that I might be a threat to his position. As time moved by, I felt that I deserved to serve the company in a higher position but how could I? My only barrier was the sales manager.
