Residents of Kanduyi Bungoma County says that boda boda theft had been on the rise in the area something that forced them to stop operating especially on night hours due to fear that they might be robbed. One of them and a business man who had invested in the boda boda business said that his three motorbikes had been stolen on three different occasions that he tried to report the case to the police but no action had been taken as the police kept saying investigations were underway.
They said that what transpired them to seeking other means was a recent incidence that a boda boda rider was killed and his motorbike stolen. They seeked the services of a herbalist by the name Dr Mugwenu after consulting on which mean they would use to ensure the theft norm that was raising in the area was no more.
