List of KNEC Exam Center Managers, Supervisors, and Invigilators 2022

In November and December of this year, the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) will administer the 2022 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national examinations.

KCPE and Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) rehearsals will be held on November 25, 2022, with the tests beginning on November 28 and concluding on November 30, 2022.

In contrast, the KCSE will be sat on November 18 and administered between November 21 and December 23, 2022.

In addition, the council will conduct Diploma in Early Childhood Teacher Education (DECTE) rehearsals on November 18 and administer the exams from November 21 to November 25, 2022.

Since then, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has instructed Sub-County Directors to find, nominate, and vet center managers, supervisors, and invigilators who would lead the exercise and deploy them by October 18, 2022.

In a statement published by TSC CEO Nancy Macharia, the Directors were instructed to maintain a ratio of one invigilator for every 20 pupils and one supervisor for every 200 applicants.

“No supervisor should be employed for hosted and KPSEA centres except for centres with KPSEA candidates only.

“You are required to deploy invigilators to hosted and KPSEA centres based on the number of candidates in the examination centre,” noted Ms. Macharia.

“Take note that the number of supervisors and invigilators should be adhered to especially during optional papers.

“The centre managers should ensure only the required number of supervisors and invigilators report each day or examinations and online attendance taken on daily basis. This will ensure teachers will not be idling in examination centres with no role to play
