A Kenyan woman recalls how she would go hungry after her husband fled after he lost a job
Muthoni a 38 year old Kenyan woman had been in marriage for twelve years and life had been just good but when government strict measures to reduce covid 19 were put in place, her life changed and she had been so worried. Her husband left her with two kids this is after he lost his job a cleaner in ones of the offices in Nairobi as the company said it had to reduce its workers to ease things. The husband walked out of the marriage and did not tell her anything as he even went to the point of changing his mobile line number.
He was really scared of the responsibilities of feeding the family as the wife said. ”one day I had visited a friend only to come back and found my husband was not there. He had once complained that their company had noticed them that they would be reduced to be able to make the company minimize its costs,”she says. She was left with two children and a pregnancy which she says it would be more difficult for her to hustle keeping in mind the pregnancy was six months old. She wondered how she could raise money to feed her children and at the same time pay their school fees keeping in mind they had been really in good schools and never wanted to downgrade her kids.
Her children would daily ask where their dad was an she would lie to them he had been on a journey where he would come back home soon. She had no option than to start washing peoples clothes and at times she would hawk some sweets in the streets and more people would pity her and buy her goods as the pregnancy really was bulging outside. Since then she turned to be a hardworking person as she knew without doing that her kids would go hungry and turn to the streets and start borrowing money. That was not the life she liked but she had to do every effort not to come back home empty handed. She had been then saving some little coins which she said it would have helped her start a small business. After sometimes she heard about a traditional doctor called Dr Mugwenu who had been helping people from their worries and she had no option to try this. She met Dr Mugwenu who casted some business spells to her. The little money she had saved she bought a washing machine and opened a laundry services in the areas she came from. People would crowd in her business as she would make close to ksh 5000 per day from the laundry business as really spells from Dr Mugwenu saved her life.
Dr Mugwenu says his spells work within 24 hours.
