A Kenyan mother cries as she tells a story of how he son was addicted to cocaine and he would do nothing else than sniffing the whole day
Mukami and his son George live in Mombasa. She had never came to understanding that her only son and only child had been addicted to cocaine to such levels. ”My son was such a good person and most of the times he would spend time going to the church keeping in mind he had some dream of one day becoming a member of the clergy,”She lamented. Her son had been having some clergy study at a certain school in Mombasa as thought by her mum.
This was not true as her son had been instead playing tricks with her. Instead he had been going to dens along the coast where he would go and buy some cocaine with the money her mother had been giving him for his upkeep. At times he came home and had a certain behavior like he had been on some drugs. Her mother added that with time she was forced to drop out of his theology class as he was not able to withstand his cocaine addiction as he would even steal his friends items like laptops, clothes and other items just to sell and get money to buy the drug.
Back at home she was being forced to lock up her essentials as he would even walk into her room and pick anything he found on the way and sold just to get chumes to purchase cocaine. The drug really drained him to be a weak person as he really lost weight as eating was a problem due to lack of appetite he had been having since the drug had really entered into his blood and was his way of living by then. He became a victim of hallucinations as one time he would seat and just laugh with no reason and at some time he would even dare to beat up the mum.
She was a so much worried person to the extent she was forced to go for a compulsory leave to ensure she was close to her son where death was really calling him. Not even a single time he had been caught with someone stolen property and lynched by a mob justice. Through a friend, she was introduced to this native doctor Mugwenu.
